About ART Conservation
Art Conservation was founded in 1991 by Piet van Dalen and Jan Stokmans as a restoration studio for paper. Today, various disciplines have been added: painting, modern and contemporary art, sculpture, ceramics and archaeology. The combined knowledge of our team of conservator-restorers is shared within the multidisciplinary studio. This means that we can handle mixed collections and objects made of different materials.
What are we doing?
Art Conservation works for museums, art dealers, galleries, governments, various heritage institutions and private individuals.
You can contact us for the conservation, research and conservation or restoration of objects made of various materials. We conduct research, write condition reports, give advice and carry out the proposed conservation-restoration treatments.

Art Conservation carries out all work according to the E.C.C.O. and ICOM guidelines (www.ecco-eu.org, www.icom.museum). We focusing on maintaining authenticity, reversibility and minimal intervention.
